Our class has been talking a lot about birthdays. Today we made mouldable dough in our sensory bin. We pretended it was birthday cake dough. It is a simple recipe of conditioner, oil and flour. We added sparkles to look like sprinkles, candles, cupcake liners, measuring cups, a scoop and sprinkles containers.
After we were done making our dough, the fun began! We heard Happy Birthday a lot 🙂
Adding this to the sensory bin lead to other great activities in the room. This was awesome as the kids decided this on their own. Devan was busy making a party list using the word wall and Blake made invitations.
