Other than the green clothes, there was nothing “grinch-like” about our class today! We were helpful, kind and happy as usual 🙂
We put out some grinchy activities today during Learning Cenres.
We had hearts of different sizes to measure. Children used snap cubes, pompoms, gems, or buttons to measure them.
The kids loved the grinch dough with sparkles in it! They even made their very own grinches.
Mrs. Pauls read “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” as well. It is a lengthy book but everyone listened silently! They loved every page 🙂
During Learning Centres we added some decorations. The class was very curious about the nutcrackers and loved the bells. We decided it was better to share the decorations than take them all for ourselves (like the grinch).
What a great day! Tomorrow the rest of the school is going to the movies. We will be doing our own movie day by watching on the big screen in the gym! Your child is welcome to wear the pajamas!
Happy Birthday to this big guy…he is definitely not a grinch!
